The article deals with organization of the personality of an officer of the Criminal and Executive Service, as a psychological quality that has a direct impact on the overall productivity of his service activity. In the framework of the research, organization is a system formation, which has its structure and essence. On the basis of the analysis of existing approaches to the study of personal qualities, the structure and essence of a penitentiary employee’s organization were determined. Organizational and methodological idea of the paper can provide the solution of the tasks of the research in order to study psychological peculiarities of the formation and development of future penitentiary employees’ personal organization, as well as factors that have a significant impact on these processes. The results of the correlation analysis experimentally confirm the existence of a general complex of individual’s social and psychological peculiarities that form an individual ability to self-regulate activities and behavior. Individual’s ability to mobilize available resources in order to increase the overall performance of activities is an indicator of social and psychological content of the concept of organization. Studying of organization as a systemic individual’s quality is possible in condition of considering of functional unity of its components, namely: motivational, cognitive, regulatory, reflexive, evaluative and productive. The proposed model is optimal when studying the organization of the employees of the Criminal and Executive Service as they are key in the structure of the psychological model of a quality.
